Hey, welcome to my blog. I'm a global traveller with a broad mind about the big stuff and a borderline OCD thing about motorbikes. This is my journal about adventure motorbiking, travel, customs and classics.I'm working on some trip and kit reviews in the tabs below.

So the UK is now firmly in the grip of 'Adventure Biking'. We saw a decade of sportsbikes and race replica leathers in the noughties' preceded by a developing affection for japanese bikes. The GS explosion in 2010 was the most telling combat indicator. Suddenly it was acceptable to own an enduro bike. The rump of the UK biking fraternity was split. Previously off roaders were rural teenagers with illegal crossers, all taped up panels, no lights and cracked numberplates. Now respectable middle aged bikers were eyeing the new F800GS and relearning the lore of adventure travel. The only problem? The UK is heavily urbanised, built on and developed. We still haven't quite got to the bottom of where to ride yet.
